We don't actually make the bookings for relocations or take payment or get heavily involved with the customer. All we do is combine ALL of the different relocations deals in the one place. This makes it easier for customers to find what they are looking for and connect them with the right company.
Although each company and vehicle have different terms and conditions and costs. We've been doin this for 6 months and have so far learned the following:Relocation price is actually usually $1, but I have seen it up to $25 so far. Doesn't include Taxes and vehicle registration costs etc.
The number of days at that price is nearly always the minimal number of days required to safely make the trip. Any additional days cost full price. (So you will never have $1/day for 5 days to travel from Sydney to Brisbane as it only takes 2 days, as an example.
Unlike our regular car rental bookings on our main website, relocation deals often have a cancellation fee and sometimes a booking fee.
The $1 day doesn't usually include insurance options or petrol. (sometimes, it does when they are really desperate)
They book out really fast, so just because they are still on our website, they could actually be sold already. (about a 10 minute delay)
